SO the 5'o'clock shadow is unlikely to be an issue. Sticking to the storylines wouldn't be hard in such a short amount of time either, sure they may have to add half an hour or so, but really, you can make YEARS of a story in less time. So I think that they should try sticking more to the stories. It's really just a question of effort on their parts. And more like the time in the actors lives. They didn't have long to film some of them because the actors were doing their gcse exams, so couldn't be on set for ages. So that would be the reason some of the films were cut shorter, but now there isn't really an excuse for missing important details!
It's annoying ;)
